Excellence has never come easy. It takes hard work, dedication and determined financial commitment.

Leon High School has a long-standing tradtion of excellence. Since 1956, when the College Board began keeping records, Leon High School has consistently ranked amond the top ten Florida high schools in the number of National Merit Scholarships awarded. In academics, music, sport, and many other areas of endeavor, Leon students, staff, and faculty have created the tradition of excellence which we enjoy and appreciate today.

This tradition of excellence is what the Leon High School Foundation seeks to preserve.

Leon To Add Iconic Arch To Its Historical Campus

Leon is planning to add a new landmark to its proud traditions during the holiday break this year when a coalition of local businesses, alumni, parents and students “close the loop” of fencing around the school’s perimeter by constructing an impressive archway that will span the driveway in front of the school’s main building.
